a young studio in Lisbon
One of the newest studios in Lisbon, louva-a-deus is also fundamentally old-school.
While it’s true that many things can be recorded at home or in other unconventional locations, there’s nothing quite like tracking music live in a room that was built for precisely that purpose.
With two large control rooms a spacious live room, louva-a-deus is perfect for artists and bands who wish to record multiple instruments and vocals at the same time.
Drop us a line and we’ll send you a full list of equipment.
The five rooms in the studio can be used together or separately, for micing amps or for separating players for a cleaner recording.
All recording gear in use, from microphones to preamps to monitors and everything in between, is part of legendary sound engineer and producer Nelson Carvalho’s vast collection, as we are lucky to have him as louva-a-deus’ technical director from the start.

rehearsing at louva-a-deus
