musical project created by Miguel Nicolau in 2011, based on the creation of songs with 8-second guitar loops and drums.
Their eponymous debut album — at the time with Nuno Oliveira on drums — was released in 2012 by Lovers & Lollypops, and was considered one of the best Portuguese albums of the year, reaching number one on national radio stations, nominated for best album by SPA, performing at festivals such as Primavera Sound, Milhões de Festa, Liverpool Sound City, Coquetel Molotov (Brazil) or Nilüfer Müzik Festivali (Turkey).
In 2016, they released their second album, Himiko Cloudwith Marco Franco on drums, to excellent reviews in the international press, having represented Portugal at Eurosonic 2017 and featured on BBC6 by Hew Stephens, The Line of The Best Fit (UK), Les Inrockuptibles (France), Rolling Stone (Brazil) and Público (Portugal).
They have performed on stages such as the Ancienne Belgique (Belgium), L’Aeuroneuf (France) or Sala Apolo (Barcelona).
They are known for their live performances, creating a modern jazz/rock dialog with many moments of improvisation, while achieving a pop sensibility.
They are now preparing to launch their third chapter with a new line-up consisting of Miguel Nicolau (guitar), Pedro Melo Alves (drums) and Filipe Louro (bass), with an album scheduled for release in October 2024.
