A keen observer of everything around him, Francisco Fontes began releasing music with the EPGravidade, in 2001
In 2023, inspired by the buzz of the city, he released Cosmopolita, a standout for Super Bock Super Rock radio, which was highlighted by Novos Talentos Fnac.
Cosmopolita was performed live at Musicbox and ZDB, in Lisbon, as well as Cuca Monga Festival, among other venues and events. On April 2024, Francisco Fontes played outside his home country for the first time, with two shows in Milan.
As a drummer, between 2020 and 20250, Fontes has played with Miguel Marôco, Celso, Península and Zaratan. He also released a song with A Sul, in 2024, ‘Caminho e Meio’ recorded live at Cossoul and another wth MALVA, ‘rajada’, part of her 2025 record poros.
He’s getting ready to release is sophomore album in 2026.
